Namiseom Island
: Namiseom Island also known as Nami Island or Naminara Republic, takes about roughly two hours’ drive from Seoul. This Island was formed after the construction of the Cheongpyeong Dam at the downstream of the Bukhangang River. This half-moon shaped island is the filming location of the infamous Korean drama - Winter Sonata.
One will surely fall in love with its romantic landscape and beautiful weather all-year round. Namiseom Island boasts of its unique trees, plants and wild flowers, some of which are chestnut and poplar trees.
